So my Andro gets to duke it out with a Rom, huh?
Andros are supposed to have fun with plasma. Let's see how much we
can have. :)
Turn 1 "Muhuhahaha! I'll give him a heavily-reinforced shield 1 to chew on, take his range-3 shot and bolt torps and fire phasers at his rear shield at Range 8! Even if I don't break through his panels, I'll be able to chase him till my phasers recycle and then...POW!" IMP 29: Great plan, boss. Problem is, I usually fire at range 5 for just that sort of reason. "Reinforced" the shield was, too. I did 34 and I only get 15 actual damage (one T-R rolled a 6. Them's the breaks playing the Range 5 game). That's assuredly 14 reinforcement. Then I bounce away to 11 hexes (nyah nyah not even worth bolting at me!) and moon him with my rear panels. IMP 32: Let's go over his EAF, shall we? 4 for housekeeping (4), +15 for Movement (19), +4 for holding S-torps (23), +19 reinforcement (42). Including batteries, he only has 39+5 = 44. So where'd the other 2 go, hmmm? I don't think he would have discharged 3 batteries and left 2, y'know? 2 *is* the number of shuttles a (non Andro) player can start the game with. Y'think maybe two of those shuttles are suicides? I guess my opponent's thought would be "He'll run right over them saying 'What can they do to me? 16 points of phaser damage?!? I LAUGH at 16 points!' Then he'll get hit for 36 PLUS another 6-8 phaser damage! Muhahaha!" Don't think so. See ya in 33 impulses, bro. Hope ya got yer runnin' shoes on in the mean time. Turn 2 That Romulan is DEFINITELY getting too close... IMP 26: Now the rom cuts loose with his phasers,
doing an nice job of charging up my front panels. 36 damage.
