Fed
XCA
This was originally playtest ship of Mike Raper's converted to use my ASIF. Then I decided to go stark raving color. I think I shocked my fellow X2 enthusiasts to silence. The Phaser Lance was a mauler-phaser hybrid and intended to be the new thing everybody gets. Well, the Turret+Lance combination, actually. The design drops to 6x P-5 as a result. Romulan
2X XKE "Eagle Rex" Command Cruiser
The KEX Fabled Legend was too late out of spacedock to participate in the Romulan Civil War. It was a unique leftover, too valuable to scrap but nobody really knew what to do with it. It spent the next 20 years in various roles until the Romulan Senate decided that they wanted a flagship that symbolized Romulan history and spirit. They chose the Fabled Legend because it recalled the entire Romulan history of starflight. It was lovingly converted to X2 technology. Rolandus needed a fast X-ship conversion, so his engineers cut corners when they built the KEX. The Fabled Legend's X2 conversion was exactly the opposite. Rolandus' "quick and dirty" shortcuts were reversed, giving the sole "Eagle Rex" combat abilities that were a quantum leap better even than what it had as a KEX. Like all War Eagle-class ships, the Fabled Legend had a cavernous R-torpedo bay, a holdover from the super-massive EY R-torpedoes that the original Warbird was designed around. When cleaned out and prepared, this torpedo bay was able (barely) to admit the Empire's new super-plasma, the Type-Z. The Legend's armored hull also gave it enough stature to fully operate the Z-torp without shock. Technology Used

Gorn
2X Battlecruiser
The Gorns took notes on the General War performance of their ships. When the time came to redesign their ships using X2 technology, they added K-racks to most of their X2 ships. K-only racks didn't have the offensive uses of D-racks but could hold more rounds of ammunition. In their home territory, the K-racks were moderate advantages, used primarily against attrition units, but the Gorns were looking ahead toward another war that would see Gorn ships far from home. K-racks gave their ships better defense against Klingons and drone-using Orions. The photon freezers in each wing could only transfer photon charges to the plasma torpedo launchers in the same wing. Kzinti
2x Command Cruiser
The Kzintis were looking to improve the drone as their weapon of choice. Tactical doctrine revolved around increasing the sustainable launch rate for Kzinti ships, then closing for a point-blank hammerblow to finish the enemy. They dropped the fast-depleting C-rack and fitted their ships with their new Drone Array technology. For the hammerblow, they replaced Disruptors with a redeveloped (and now overloadable) Disruptor Cannon that Kzinti researchers had been playing with since before the the fall of the Carnovons. The addition of the phaser-matrix made Kzinti ships nearly as hard to mizia as Klingon ships without sacrificing firepower. Technology Used
